The water and sewer department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of water and sewer lines throughout the city. The water and sewer employees are dedicated to provide water and sewer service with minimal interruption or inconvenience to our citizens. They work hard everyday to repair, maintain, and upgrade water and sewer lines.
To report a water leak or a sewer problem during normal business hours of 8:30AM to 5:00PM Monday thru Friday call City Hall at 229-723-3677 and after hours call the Blakely Fire Department at 229-723-5150.
If it is found that the sewer backup is on the customer’s side there is a service charge of $35.00 during normal business hours and $50.00 after hours.
